Sisters of St. Joseph of the Apparition in India

Kasidha is a tiny village which is 2km away from Ghatsila station and 20km from Mosaboni.
It belongs to Moubhandar Parish which is 3km from here.
The Society of Claretian Missionaries is incharge of the parish.

The Sisters from the community of Mosaboni has been seeing
to the pastoral ministry of the parish since 1967.
During the time of Sr. Renee Quadros three and a half acres land
was purchased for the school purpose.
In the year 2010 with the permission of
the Bishop of Jamshedpur, Most Rev. Felix Toppo,
they began their Pre- Primary School.
Today they have upto Std III with 350 children.

They felt that their presence in the parish and in the school will be more effective
if they resided there at Kasidha.
They expressed their plan to the Bishop and asked his consent.
He was very happy and asked them to proceed with their plans.
Therefore on 9th November 2013 at 10.00 a.m.
they had the great event 'The blessing of the Convent at Kasidha'.
