It was with the invitation of the Claritian Fathers and
the Archbishop of Madurai His grace Arokia Swamy, DD.,
we decided to respond to the invitation and
open a mission in Vikramangalam
in the archdiocese of Madurai.

The land was donated to us
by the Claritian fathers for the mission.
We were to have pastoral ministry and medical work
in this mission and besides this
we are free to establish our own missions and apostolate.

 

On 14th June 2002,
the new mission in Vikramangalam was inaugurated.
The Congregation has put up two buildings in this land.
One for the Sisters residence
which was inaugurated by Sr. Renee Quadros, the Provincial Superior
and was blessed by Fr. Peter the Bishops representative in November 2003

 

The school building
was inaugurated by
Sister Renee Quadros,
the provincial Superior
and
was blessed by
the Claritian Fathers
in August 2005.

The school has got
recognition and
permission
till class V.

 

The dispensary which was a need of that area
was opened in December 2005 in the convent building.
We have a lot of patients who come for medical care.
Thanks to the hard works and efforts of the Sisters.
